How long does it take to launch a market?

We know there's no time to waste when it comes to helping the local shops in your neighborhood. We move as fast as the participating businesses. We typically budget two weeks to onboard up to 25 merchants and get their products live.

What does merchant on-boarding look like?

We'll provide you a link to share with the businesses you'd like to invite. We'll collect key info from the shops and a collection of the products they'd like to sell. When the market is ready to go live, we'll collect their secure payment information to process payouts smoothly and seamlessly to all market participants.

What kind of data do merchants and organizers receive?

All merchants  have access to a shop dashboard that contains a real-time feed of their orders along with key customer information needed to fulfill orders.
Market organizers have access to a dashboard that shows aggregate order data including gross sales, sales per product, per merchant and per zip-code.

What does the transaction fee cover?

A 10% transaction fee is deducted from the gross sales processed at checkout. This transaction fee covers credit card processing charged by our payment processor Stripe, chargeback risk underwritten with each transaction, as well as marketing expenses incurred to help promote the market.

Can I earn a commission for promoting the market?

Yes. All market participants, including the participating small shops as well as the market organizer and host, receive a unique link to use in promoting and sharing the market. When a customer visits the market with your link and completes a purchase, you'll earn a commission based on percentage of the total sale.
